CCAR was created in 1985 and opened for business in 1986 to address the auction industry on a full time basis. Thus obtaining contracts from attorneys, private lenders, the federal government, local government and quasi-governmental agencies; in bankruptcy, real estate and surplus property liquidations.  

To enhance the capabilities of the company, we provide comprehensive office support, personnel support, automated data processing (ADP) support, including facility management, software development, furniture, fixtures & equipment acquisition, hardware selection surveys, feasibility studies, requirements analysis and documentation.

The President and CEO, W. Ronald Evans, CAI-AARE-CES (Certified Auctioneers Educational Institute, Accredited Auctioneer of Real Estate, Certified Estate Specialist) awarded by the Auction Marketing Institute (AMI) of the National Auctioneers Association, (NAA) has been involved in over $100 Million dollars worth of real estate sales from government and quasi-government agencies. He has performed as a bid consultant to many of the nations largest auction firms around the country. Additionally he has been an expert witness in the Federal Court and District of Columbia Superior Court on matters pertaining to real estate, personal property appraisals and providing evaluations for same.   

CCAR remains actively involved in the disposition and sale of personal property and real estate for The D. C. Corporation Counsel, HomeSteps Asset Services a division of Freddie Mac, Bankruptcy Trustees, Industrial Bank of Washington, NA (IBW), and the Small Business Administration. CCA&R has performed foreclosure auctions for IBW, The Hospitality Federal Credit Union, Gramercy Financial Corporation, First Chrysler Mortgage Co., Inter City Mortgage Co. and several attorneys in the Washington Metropolitan Area. On an ongoing basis since 1981.
